This research aims at synthesizing jurisprudential applications of the rule of necessities permit prohibitions, eliciting them from Sheikh Zakaria al-Ansari's book Asna al-Mataalib fi Sharh Rawdhat al-Taalib, and theoretically studying them. This study is based on the inductive and descriptive approach that clarifies the rule's meaning, explanation, evidence, and types of permits that are based on it as well as the necessity regulations authorizing the perpetration of prohibited acts. It also explains the jurisprudential applications that fall under it, as mentioned by Sheikh Zakaria Al-Ansaari in his book. This study concludes that the book Asna Al-Matalib includes a set of jurisprudential rules, including the rule: "Necessities permit prohibitions." Zakaria Al-Ansari has used this rule, and justified many of its applications by saying it was necessary. There are many jurisprudential applications of this rule in the book Asna Al-Mataalib. The rule has exceptions that deviate from it.
